I’ve been trying to think outside the box lately. I’ve come to the conclusion that as my life has changed dramatically recently I may want to change and expand my blog also, to include more than just astrology. Some of my other favourite things deserve attention as well, including art, artists, diy, new ideas, fashion, and well, pretty much anything that catches my interest.  

The Moon is in Libra today and I’ve been thinking about art, and in particular Christo and Jeanne-Claude, who is trying to complete an Over the River project. I remember when The Gates came to New York and how amazing it was! It was a work of art that you really experienced, that couldn’t be captured so well in photos, as part of the art was moving through the gates in relation to the space around you. It was a liberating experience, that made me think more about our environment and how we relate to the world. 

It took a long time for Christo and Jeanne-Claude to get permission to put up The Gates, and now he’s trying to get permission for Over the River. If you want to help support what will surely be one, if not his last, major environmental artworks, Get Involved! and think outside the box today!
